The GMC Canyon: A Tough Truck
The GMC Canyon is a powerful truck that can help you get the job done and have a great time. You have three engine options to choose from to power your Canyon:
- 2.5L I4 gas engine with 200 horsepower
- 3.6L V6 gas engine with 308 horsepower
- 2.8L Duramax® Turbo-Diesel engine with 181 horsepower
When properly equipped, the Canyon has a maximum towing capacity of 7,700 pounds and a maximum payload capacity of 1,470 pounds.
The inside of the Canyon is comfortable and stylish. With the Crew Cab, there’s seating for five on available leather-trimmed seats. To help you bring along whatever you need, the Crew Cab also comes with underseat storage and a large center console.
The Canyon also has a standard infotainment system that allows you to stream music, access directions, and more.
Canyon Trim Levels
The GMC Canyon offers four trim levels:
- Elevation
- Elevation Standard
- AT4
- Denali
The Elevation trim kicks things off with a 6-speaker audio system and available Wi-Fi® hotspot. So your rear-seat passengers can charge their phones, the Elevation trim includes rear USB ports.
The Elevation Standard enhances the Elevation trim with standard remote start capability, standard Wi-Fi® hotspot, and automatic climate control.
A mid-tier trim is an AT4 trim. With this trim, your front passenger and you can stay comfortable, even in winter, with heated front seats. A heated steering wheel is also available.
The highest-level trim is the Denali trim. With it, you get a standard HD Rear Vision Camera and have the option to add wireless charging to your cabin. Available leather-appointed seats add a touch of luxury to every drive.
