Performance and Towing Capacity

The GMC Acadia has two powerful engines to choose from. The standard engine is a 2.0L Turbo engine with 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The engine has Stop/Start technology to improve fuel efficiency that shuts the engine off as it idles and kicks back on when you need it.

The available 3.6L V6 produces an impressive 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque for even more power. It also has Stop/Start technology and active fuel management.

Both engines work with a standard automatic 9-speed transmission.

When properly equipped, the Acadia can tow up to 4,00 pounds. With this towing capacity, you can tow a number of things, like trailers, boats, and another vehicle on a flat-bed trailer. To help you tow, the available hitch guidance and hitch view feature display guidelines on the rear vision camera view while you’re in reverse, so you can line your SUV up more easily.

Off-Road Capability
